PrA Ultracold Atoms and Spectroscopy

Within the framework of this Projektarbeit, students will work on a laser cooling setup built up exclusively by students. You will get hands-on experience with:

• laser physics
• high-resolution spectroscopy
• feedback and frequency stabilisation
• acusto-optics
• polarization vacuum technology
• laser cooling and trapping digital imaging and image analysis
